Can youhelp me with the calculations and explain how to do them as well as sources of error. Could you also check if the equations are correct
A Series of Chemical Changes

Part 1: Conversion of Copper to Copper (IT) Nitrate
nitrogen dioxide, and water.
Observe what happens when copper reacts with concentrated nitric acid solution to form copper (II) nitrate.

with a glass stirring rod and record any changes. Test the solution with red litmus paper to see if it is basic.

Part 3: Conversion of Copper (II) Hydroxide to Copper (II) Oxide (water is also produced)
Place the beaker on a hot plate and carefully bring it to a gentle boil. Stir, and continue heating until all of the
precipitate has changed color. Remove from the heat and allow the suspension in the beaker to settle. Filter
the solution through a piece of filter paper into a 250 mL Erlenmeyer flask. To speed up the filtration
process, transfer as much of the liquid as possible before transferring any solid. Wash the solid in the filter
paper with a small amount of water. The filtrate solution should be transferred to a waste container.

Part 4: Conversion of Copper (II) Oxide to Copper (II) Sulfate (water is also produced)
Dissolve the solid copper (II) oxide by placing the filter paper into a 250 ml beaker and adding 5 mL of 3 M
sulfuric acid. Make sure that all of the copper (II) oxide dissolves. Using a glass stirring rod or plastic forceps
(not metal!), carefully lift the filter paper out of the beaker. Rinse it over the beaker with water until no trace
of copper compound remains. Discard the paper. The copper (II) sulfate solution should be blue.
