1. For this assignment, you’ll use four sources about a specific career: 1) O*net (at

where you can search by career name or take an aptitude test, 2) a magazine or newspaper article, 3) an academic journal, and 4) a reputable website that includes research and not just opinion. Find all sources through ASU libraries at

ALL SOURCES SHOULD BE 2016 OR NEWER AND SHOULD FEATURE USA-BASED INFO UNLESS YOU PLAN TO WORK IN ANOTHER COUNTRY.
USE ANY INFO THAT YOU FIND INTERESTING. THIS ASSIGNMENT IS FOR YOUR BENEFIT MOST OF ALL.
2. For each source, construct an
annotated bibliography (Links to an external site.)

Follow the structure spelled out in the link, i.e., paragraph 1: scope of the source. What does this source cover? Paragraph 2: evaluation of the source. What’s good about it? What does it lack? Paragraph 3 (One sentence, actually): For whom would this source be useful? Paraphrase only in these paragraphs. Do not use quotations here.
3. Start each annotation with a reference citation at the top. Please use APA, MLA, or Chicago style. Most sources from ASU libraries will cite the source for you with a click. On the bottom of each O*net page, in tiny print, there’s a link that says “Cite this Page.” (See Purdue OWL for additional citation help.) CITATIONS HAVE TO BE DONE CORRECTLY TO GET A GRADE.
4. At the end of EACH 3-paragraph annotation, include 10 direct quotations. (That means 40 total, 10 for each annotated article.) Use exact words from the source with quotation marks. Use an

at the end of each quotation.
5. Put all four annotations including quotations into one document and submit.
