· Read the Prologue and Chapters 1-8 in A Rule Against Murder by Louise Penny (pdfs on Lea if you haven’t received your book yet)
· Write one well-developed paragraph that describes how Penny makes the setting a character and creates atmosphere with her descriptions (see “Setting as Character” by Louise Penny for inspiration,).
· Begin with a clear topic sentence that introduces the focus of your analysis and include at least two examples from the text that support your argument.
