Using Cloud Technology

Cloud technology defines a program and services that chat on the internet alternatively or locally

on your computer. Some of the cloud services include Apple iCloud, Yahoo mail, Google Drive,

and Microsoft OneDrive. Cloud services permit entry over web browsers like Google chrome but

some companies have advanced further to offering mobile apps. Many organizations are

increasingly depending on the cloud for data storage. Apple company organization is one of an

example of many organizations relying on the cloud (Turban, & etl., 2021).

About Apple company organization

Apple company organization is a multinational technology company based in California known for

its ability to govern its data centers (Elhussein, 2019). Steve Wozniak, Ronald Wayne, and Steve

Jobs founded the company on April 1 of 1976. Produces a sequence of personalized computers, the

iPod and it has inventive retailing designs for its products. However, despite its ability to manage

its data centers, it also depends on the cloud a third-party company for data center storage.

Apple keeps moving its services towards the cloud attracting more of its services consumers to

embrace iCloud for file storage and photo library. To ensure good security and preserve its good

reputation, Changchun 2018) Apple does not hand over third force cloud storage providers with the

keys to decode user data saved on their servers. Apple’s need of promoting performance and

effectiveness has laid down some visions, missions, and values by explicating the aims of the

organization and inculcating a sense of affiliation to employees and its reliance to cloud storage

services. Some of them are as follows.

Mission

Shaun Sullivan
Not exactly you need to dive a bit deeper into what is cloud services and computing.

Shaun Sullivan
This does not define cloud computing.

Shaun Sullivan
Yes it does and this is one aspect of cloud services

Apple’s mission statement is to deliver an outstanding user experience to its clients over

innovational services, software, and hardware. The mission statement illuminates Apple’s

dedication to offering the best services and output to meet its clients’ uncommon needs. This

statement guides as to extended goals which devote to its good relationship with third party

companies and its victory.

The mission statement has three fundamental components namely, inventive products, best end-

user participation, and good service consignment. All Apple products are produced to satisfy

customers’ needs. To deliver satisfaction, it operates in diverse market segments such as healthcare,

education, and business. Apple products are easy to use and user-friendly. It also advances in

designs, sales, and developments to provide quality products and maintain its position at the front

line in the competitive market.

Vision

Apple company has a vision statement that states, to build the products on earth and embark the

world improved than we discovered it. This statement affects the decision the company’s decision-

makers make to influence the leadership of tomorrow in different industries where the business

steers. The aim of having leading products throws down Apple to continue developing new

innovational products. Supply chain arrangements encourage suppliers to supremacy and upgrade

to promote the development of quality products. Apple company also requires all its employees to

comply with the environmental conservancy to keep true to their vision statement, “leaving the

world superior to we discovered it”.

Core Values

Shaun Sullivan
Where in and what aspect does Apple do anything with healthcare other than providing end-user devices. You need to back up what you are saying here with evidence.

Shaun Sullivan
Be careful here as Apple does not create the backend hardware needed for a cloud environment they are front end only and mostly user-centric not server-centric

Apple company has enjoyed the leadership of Steve Jobs and Tim cooks. Each of the CEOs had

different philosophical policies towards core values. Steve Jobs when he was an interim CEO,

applied a strategy of dispatching Apple’s products before anyone else destroys them with new

products. He also laid some of the following core values.

 An individual, one computer

 We are all on the exploitation together, each character is crucial and committed to making a

change.

 We are anxious, we desire every person to enjoy the exploitation we are on in unison. E

desire to make an ambient in which Apple values flourish.

Steve Jobs as the interim CEO, advocated for producing outstanding products in the market and

major on particular products rather than contemplate different campaigns. It steered towards

development and innovation.

Tim Cook who took over from Steve Jobs came up with values that have gone beyond Job’s

philosophical strategies. The values are as follows; We believe in saying no to thousands of

arrangements to focus on the few and important, we proscribe settling for anything less than

perfect in all organs of the company, we have the confidence to acknowledge when we’re

inaccurate and the boldness to modify.

Visions speculate (Abdalla & Varol 2019 June) what the Apple company values and in support of

visions and mission help shape its culture. Apple’s crystal visions, missions, and values make it a

unique company with the ability to contrast what is important from what is not important.

Advantages of Apple company using the cloud

Shaun Sullivan
I think you mean exploration not exploitation. Please look up the difference in an online dictionary.

Improving Data Governance 5

It is easy and simple to use. With an available internet connection, Apple company gadgets can

download their files freely (Volikova, 2019). It also allows the ability to share files with other

Apple company devices. Cloud technology has changed from the analog way of sharing and

delivering applications. The cloud storage in iCloud can be used to coincide data between different

iCloud devices. This comes with an added advantage of the ability to change a file and still the

copies of the file be saved in the two devices while changed.

Apple’s cloud files such as iCloud provide free space for the storage of files and documents. Apple

using cloud benefits from restoring data in case of failure of local media. The pre-made copy of

cloud storage file backup space provides the benefit. Apple company devices can benefit from

cloud services such as the integration of information within gadgets. Cloud storage servers are

usually not limited to file storage space with an available offer of 5GB to 10GB storage space. In

case one feels the space is little, for an extra charge it is feasible to acquire storage space with

adequacy from 20 GB to various terabytes.

The system of hoarding of cloud storage is of more choice than other customary storage designs.

Apple doesn’t have to establish somatic storage accessories on its servers. It is more affordable to

use cloud storage for Apple devices. This is due to the cloud’s storage use to alleviate ownership

fees. Dismissing costly systems and requirements of storage gives the Apple company remarkable

cost reserves.

Shaun Sullivan
Yes but this does not equate to the whole of cloud technology. I recommend you compare what Apple does to what Google or Amazon do.

Disadvantages of Apple company using cloud

System crashes and errors may lead to cloud services being inaccessible for an extensive period.

With the insecurity experienced in the internet platform, some sensitive data stored in the cloud

may be distributed after a successful hacking of clients’ files has taken place. Inaccuracy in

handling correct control and ransom sensitive data may be devoted by the cloud supplier leading to

the rise of server problems (Volikova, 2019). When two devices are working on the same server

data is accessed without permission and possible leakage may take place.

Cloud systems have not fully advanced in systems that preserve the decency of data. It’s tiresome

to keep checking whether the data saved is correct. In absence of the internet, cloud service

providers mean one cannot access cloud computing machines. When servers are limited, apple

company users may crowd on available servers increasing the risk of attack.

Apple company cloud computing system users mean fully trusting the confidentiality of data to

the cloud server companies. When a technical problem is experienced, the users cannot sue the

server for errors in the data. It is also available that in case of a technical problem, it is not provided

for personal management, the company has to contact the customer support that may charge for

some services or may not be available at the particular moment. In cases of remoteness, the servers

may not be strong leading to poor connections thus poor performance and risk of being harmed.

Industrial practices

Industrial practices are functional-based exercises that enable producers to make economical

products at a payoff. The activities incorporate cloud computing in the business. Other

organizations from Apple company uses cloud computing for various purposes as follows, cloud

computing enhances association. It gives an ecosystem for an association between free

True but also note that Apple does not make or deploy backend servers.

Shaun Sullivan
This is good

manufacturers and third force distributors to develop lesser components that are congregated into

greater products. Clouding also offers an exemplary platform for keeping classical industrial

information enhancing developed planning.

Factors to consider before an organization uses cloud

Before an organization uses the cloud, it is important to put the following into consideration. The

first is to determine how the organization will use the cloud. The management should decide the

motive of moving to the cloud and their anticipations of conceivable gains they are likely to

acquire. The organization should consider the placement model to be used. There are three

different placement models namely, software as a service, infrastructure as a service, and platform

as a service. Each possesses unique levels of control, management, and level of flexibility. Once an

organization’s goals are set, it will make it easy to determine the model most suitable. The

organization should consider security. To ensure the security of the cloud server, one should go

through the cloud service provider’s agreement carefully and take notes of security policies.

In summary, cloud computing is a mechanization that applies cyberspace for managing and storing

information on inaccessible servers and sending data via the internet. Cloud computing is also used

in data backup.

Shaun Sullivan
You should have started with this statement as this is what is meant by cloud services.
