You work in the proposal dept of a small manufacturer of electronic equipment used in civilian & military boats and ships. Your company doesn’t use project management software. You have a graphic artist draw your gantt charts for the company. You think that project management software would help your company improve overall efficiency, as well as by completing the charts more quickly & less expensively. The company does not currently use a particular software for communication with the customers or to keep company records. You are proposing to your boss that the company would benefit from the use of a project management software. You will need to research the kinds of programs available, what they do, how easy they are to use and what they cost. You need not focus only on Gantt charts, any benefit to the company is a selling point.
Research the three following websites, then write a memo proposal addressed to your boss. You want to convince your boss that our company needs to use a project management software, what the available options are, why we should start using one, what changes would have to be made and how the company should go about making the changes. You are not making a recommendation at this point, you are merely proposing the need and describing the options.. Include at least first level headings.
