For your fourth summary writing assignment you will be asked to integrate material from the fourth unit of class. Your answer will be graded on how well you address each aspect of the question. What you submit should be a polished piece of college-level writing,as you will also be graded on your argument, clarity, and writing. You may consult your notes, online materials, and book. Topic: In this essay you will be discussing anxiety disorders.
You should include answers to the following:
• Define and explain anxiety disorders.
• Compare and contrast generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and phobic disorders. How are they similar? How are they distinct? What are the unique features of each?
• Discuss the biological, psychological and sociocultural factors related to the etiology of these disorders and how they are differentially related to each. Be sure to consider separate etiologies for each of these disorders and to explain in full.
• Discuss how these disorders are treated.
Please address all aspects of this topic and explain your answer in detail and in your own words using your own examples. Be sure to properly cite any sources you use, and also note that I do not expect you to do additional research beyond the materials used for class. If an idea is not your own, even if it is not a direct quotation, it should receive within text citation (e.g., King, 2013) and end of text citation. Obviously if the words are verbatim from another source, you would also enclose the quotation in quotation marks.
