Internship company: Southeast Missouri State University
Supervisor: Zahir Ahmed
Mr. Ahmed delivered me to International Intensive English Programs. I helped translate the School web site from English to Chinese. The purpose is to recruit more Chinese students. Based on some Chinese students’ English is poor, so they want me translate it to Chinese, and students can read information directly.
I still give my advice to arrange some composing of the website of Southeast Missouri State University, which will help students easy to find their useful information.
Because I didn’t do much of this internship, so you may need to help me make up some reasonable information for my internship paper.
Here is my supervisor made for me before I start my internship:
1.
Help develop plans to assist students from China do well, both academically and socially at Southeast. You will be helping us in helping students from China in particular understand how they can be successful in the classroom and the opportunities for an education outside the class.
2. Participate in our office staff meetings and bring a student perspective to the office.
3. Help us in understanding China and its education system and ways we can identify and attract good students.
