As an inbound tour operator with international clientele travelling to New South Wales, Queensland, North Territory and South Australia in the ‘high season’ (during months of December, January and February), you have been delegated to research and review relevant information on visitor health and safety requirements in Australia. Use the following websites to assist your research.

Using the tables overleaf, write at least four (4) types of health and safety risks that visitors should be made aware of in the states/territories mentioned and what visitors can do to avoid any problems.
· Health risks such as marine bites and stings and dangerous animals known to inhabit the states/territories.
· Weather threats or disasters: extreme weather conditions and natural disasters such as cyclones, rain, storms, floods, bushfires and intense heat.
· In cases such as acts of terrorism, political, civil or other types of unrest that present possible threats and/or actual incidents that could interfere with tourism.
