c. Does the author’s overall view seem correct? Are his arguments all correct? How might someone who disagrees with this author try to argue against this view?
d. Does the author’s view have any clear problems? If so, how might they be fixed?
e. Does the author’s argument make sense? Why/why not?
f. Given the author’s position, how might he comment on a contemporary problem?
g. If you disagree with the author, what would you say to him to try and convince him your view is correct and his view is not correct?
h. Does the author contradict something that a previous author we have read claimed? Who do you think is correct? Why?
