This week I have given you several primary sources from England and America, representing different points of view on, and experience of, industrialization. I want you to focus and reflect on these differences in their attitudes towards industrialization and experiences, and possible reasons for them (use your textbook and supplementary materials for help). Keep in mind the social class and profession of the authors, the place and the time in which they were writing when comparing them. Is there anything that you found particularly surprising?
