STABILITY AND CAPABILITY TOOLS.”
• Moving Range Control Charts are used to analyze the variability
between two consecutive points.
• The sample size “n” = 2
• For consecutive numbers we cannot calculate the standard deviation
for such small size; instead, we use an alternate method to measure
variation by calculating the moving range average.
• Due to this variation, we use a factor d 2 = 2.66 as or sigma value.
