have three areas of content that I would like to recommend when checking your paper that I have really become more aware of this class.
The first is to make sure your abstract is on a separate page. I had my abstract on the same page as my title page and per professor, that is incorrect. This is more of an APA formatting issue that I was unaware of.
The second thing I’d like to make clear is when it comes to content. I was always under the assumption that the conclusion should in a way mimic what you have already discussed in your paper and highlight your points of argument. You should never add new information or new facts in your conclusion. My conclusion was a few pages long because I was attempting to summarize the paper again but it was too wordy and too redundant.
And lastly, your actual content does not necessarily need to be paragraphs of facts you are reading about in your sources. You should attempt to link the different arguments, content, and facts together in order to prove your position and it is okay to add wording in that helps formulate the idea you are trying to forecast.
