Response to me from your post. Response deep with knowledge
Tamika,
Great observation of this weeks topic of discussion, I really enjoyed reading your post. In Erikson’s theory we understand that Family is an important aspect in the development aspect of us In general. These three stages are important to our growth as human beings and what will carry on as we get older. It helps us to understand how we will handle and build relationships with friends, spouses, and even creating a family. What was your biggest takeaway from this topic?.

Class,
The last three stages of Erikson’s stages of psychosocial major conflict or what is known as crisis are intimacy vs. isolation, generativity vs. stagnation, and ego integrity vs. despair (Anon, 2995). So basically love, care, and wisdom. With the intimacy vs. isolation stage it focuses on forming intimate and loving relationships. Completing this stage will give you a good sense of commitment and compassion (McLeod, S. (2018). However not completing this stage can have an impact on the future life. Generativity vs. stagnation happens during middle adulthood (ages 40 to 65) where individuals will be making their mark. Individuals will experience a need to create and nurture as well as give back to society. Failing to find a way to contribute may result in feeling stagnant and unproductive. At the age of 65 individuals will start to reflect on their life and in this cake you would be crossing the Ego integrity vs. despair stage. According to McLeod, S. (2018) this stage we would begin to lean on our accomplishments in life resulting into positivity if we see ourselves that way. Those who reflect and feel more regret will often experience feelings of bitterness and despair. I believe all three stages would represent the community and family as being a huge influence on social systems. The family is such a huge part of our development as people and whether it can make or break your behavior in a positive or negative way.
