Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) have some of the same symptoms and also have some very different symptoms. Receiving therapy that helps them to understand their anxiety and also to acknowledge their behavior is key to being able to handle and treat these disorders. Anti-anxiety medications are also an option for clients in need, combining both therapeutic methods can be very beneficial.
